Fingerprints: Done

All of us went to our local United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, affectionately called USCIS, office this morning and arrived at about 8:10 a.m. It wasn't that we were totally excited or anything, Chad had to get back to work a.s.a.p. Luckily, they weren't very busy, BUT apprearantly my fingerprints are hard to read. Who knew? It took them about 45 minutes to get them all, and approved what they got. Whew! Chad's took all of 15 minutes! What? I know, weird. Him being in the Painting (with chemicals) business, I thought for sure his would be the harder of the two, but no. Oh well . . . they're done and now we just wait for our I-171H.

This tells us that our I600 is indeed approved and we then move on to the next step. It (I-171H) will come via snail mail and then everything is off to the National Visa Center in New Hampshire. Then it's 'logged in' and then 'logged out'. Known as NVC in and NVC out. This step usually takes about a week. Once logged out, everything is then sent to the US Embassy in Seoul. We'll stop there. Let's just focus on the step we're in now. OK? Allllllrighty then.
