New to the Blog World
I have been reading blogs for the past three months, and finally decided to make my own. It's a great way to keep family and friends updated. Let me tell you all a little bit about who we are for those of you who don't know us.
I am married to my soulmate, and have been for 9.5 years. We have two beautiful biological sons that will be 7 & 4, BOTH in December. We're still not sure how that happened!
I am fortunate enough to be able to stay home with the boys, and I homeschool them both. Our almost-seven-year-old is in Second Grade and our youngest is in Pre-school. God has blessed each and every year, and I give Him all the glory.
In August we began the process of adopting a little girl from South Korea. We all are VERY excited (especially me) to have a little girl to love and squeeze on. We have been told to expect a 12-18 month wait. Which isn't too bad, I have heard much longer wait times from other countries. We researched other countries and found a real calling towards S. Korea. Plus, my husband is self-employed and it is really hard for him to leave, so the option of having her escorted is nice. However, we have not eliminated the option to travel, we would love to have the opportunity. We'll have to see, the time of year and finances have to be considered.
I will try to keep up on my blogging. So far, there's not much to post. I called our agency today and we are 19th on the list, and I made Dr. Appt's for all of us for our Health Eval's. Otherwise . . .just waiting. We will keep you posted.
